.Stars.

When I tell you the stars flash signals, each one dreadful,
Will you still turn to me and answer me
'The night is wonderful.'

-- D.H. LAWRENCE, 'Under the Oak'

"Once, I asked my mom why stars shine.
She said they were night-lights,
so angels could find their way around in Heaven."
