Mid-autumn Festival
Celebrated Mid autumn festival with the Singapore gang and some new friends last night..
Had a great time. Very Singaporean. Had curry, bee hoon, chilli fish, some finger food for mains. Then it's was a 3-course dessert. Our Georges chocolate cream puff, ice cream 'cake' (from Tabi's bday), some sweet potato sago (i think).. The food was simply fantastic!! My first curry meal in Aussie!! **touched**
Then it was mooncake.. First time eating halal moon cake. It tastes the same though.. hehe!! There's white lotus paste with melon seed, green tea, coffee, pandan (Yes!! PANDAN!), 5 nuts, red lotus paste... and a couple with yolk yolk yolk!! Nice nice~~
We had lanterns and sparklers.. to think I don't carry lanterns, eat much mooncake, or even celebrate this festival in Singapore, I'm actually enjoying them here!! WAHAHA!! What being in a foreign land can do to a person huh??
Anywayz, this night was really great!! Not exactly the celebrating, but rather the gathering with all my friends.. Simply fantastic!
On another note.. talked to a friend who have already been told her clinical placement posting.. They'll most probably be heading to Brisbane..
Oh boy... Seriously.. What are the chances of staying in Sydney for clinicals?? SO SO SO SO LOW!!! **sigh** this is not very good...
