Team Hoyt Part 1
Team Hoyt Part 2
Would like to share the above 2 videos with friends. Very touching! The love of father and son. The love a family can give. All these simply can't be put into just a few words. L.O.V.E. just 4 letters. just 4 alphabets. such a HUGE meaning.
Presenting to you,
Team Hoyt.
Spent a nice time with friends yesterday. Company was good. Food was bad. I've officially blacklisted a this eating place located in cineleisure. I had to complain for 2 times in a row, just so that i get something that looked like proper food. I had terderloin steak cooked 3 times! i ordered medium done. the 1st time it arrived, i tot it was still alright. (saw 2 chefs walking out of the eating place) then the moment i cut it i see blood flowing out. looked more like rare, rather than medium. asked for it to be cooked again. now it looked alright. so i cut it again. and blood is still flowing out. (it's like an open wound! **faintz**) this time the boss came to the table. i requested for him to get it done. (the 2 chefs walked back in) and finally! something decent looking came back to me.. something that looked pink inside, yet not bleeding.
and so.. now im beginning to doubt my knowledge of doneness of steaks. so i've done some research!

Raw - uncooked. Except in special dishes, like steak tartare, steak is not eaten or ordered at this stage.
Blue rare or very rare - Cooked very quickly; the outside is seared, but the inside is warmed more than cooked. The steak will be red on the inside.
Rare - The outside is grey-brown, and the very middle of the steak is red, with the rest of the inside pink.
Medium rare - The outside is grey-brown, the middle of the steak is pink, fading to a grey-brown near the surface of the meat. Unless specified otherwise, upscale steakhouses will cook to this level.
Medium - The very inside is pinkish, fading to grey-brown throughout the rest of the meat. The outside is grey-brown.
Medium well - The meat is mostly grey-brown with a hint of pink. The juiciness of the steak is reduced when cooked to this level.
Well done - The meat is grey-brown throughout; the juiciness and tenderness is reduced, and the meat may seem dry and chewy.
we asked for black pepper sauce. what came was mushroom sauce. i need not further explain this point.last of all. shouldn't whats on the menu be what you're serving? its surprising how fries turn out to be baked potato. and surprising how boiled veggie looked raw.considering it's suppose to be a steakhouse. i guess it's just too high class for me.. or rather i don't know how to enjoy it.
